When you sign up for this virtual information session, you'll get a sneak peek at what the Golden Mile Trades Training Program is all about. If you decide to enroll in the program, participants will receive the following certifications: Globally Harmonized WHMIS, Working at Heights, Workplace Violence and Harassment, Introduction to PPE, Introduction to Hand Tools, Safety Awareness in Four Steps, First Aid, Confined Space Entry and Hazard Recognition, and Traffic Control.

Program Highlights

• 6-week in-class training (unpaid) and a possible 8-week placement at Aecon-Golden Mile

• Completion of Grade 10 education or high school is required.

• Having a driver's license is an asset.

• Training starts in August 2023
