November 29 Tradeworx Apprenticeship Event

The Labour Education Center is actively recruiting black youth (women and men) living in York Region for a free construction pre-apprentice training program. No construction experience is needed. You must identify as being black, between 18 - 30 years old, and reside in York Region. The program is funded by the Home Depot Foundation and in partnership with York Region Alliance of African Communities and the Social Planning Council of York Region.

Program Criteria

  • Identify as black
  • Between the ages of 18 - 30
  • No prior construction experience needed
  • Must reside in York Region
