The Labour Education Centre is proud to welcome a new cohort of the Golden Mile Trades Training Program. Starting today, a new class of participants will launch their careers in the construction industry through in-class instruction, hands-on training, and paid placements.

The Golden Mile Trades Training Program features a 6-week in-class training schedule followed by an 8-week paid placement ($23/hr) to train on Aecon’s Hydro-Vac trucks. The Inclusive Local Economic Opportunity (ILEO) Initiative, in partnership with the United Way Greater Toronto and Aecon Group, is designed to provide participants with job experience and opportunities for career advancement in the skilled trades and construction industry.
