On April 24^th 2019, LEC was pleased to participate in the 3rd Annual Don Valley West Youth Career and Job Fair hosted by MP Rob Oliphant in the Thorncliffe Park neighbourhood. This yearly event is intended for youth between the ages of 15 and 30 years. We met high school, college and university students, and other youth looking for volunteer, summer employment, full-time and part-time employment, training, and career exploration opportunities.

Joined by our partner organizations in the community we delivered resume support and mock interviews on site to dozens of motivated young people looking to make themselves stand out to employers.   

LEC is happy to offer a host of services to young people looking for work including resume help, interview skills and job searching support. We also offer Tradelinx, a youth-focused program open to anyone receiving Ontario Works. Stop by or call our centre anytime to learn more.
